Adult Programming and Library Assistant
Scenic Regional Library’s Sullivan branch is seeking qualified applicants to fill a part-time position. This position coordinates monthly programs for adults at the branch – not teaching them, but generating program ideas, scheduling and making the necessary arrangements. Scenic Regional Library is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time, Branch Manager position at its Warrenton location.
The Branch Manager is responsible for daily operations at the branch including supervising, training, and scheduling staff, providing information and services, and modeling customer service. They ensure that all staff is providing exemplary service to library patrons. The branch manager serves as a liaison between their branch and the community by reaching out to area organizations and promoting the library and its services.
The Warrenton branch is a 12,000 square foot facility, serving a population size of 9,850, with an annual circulation of 65,000 items. This position manages a staff of 3.75 FTE.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent coursework, in a related specialized field or two+ years of related experience. Supervisory experience preferred. Public library experience is preferred. Must be willing to work evenings and weekend with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Salary range of $53,972.50 to $62,068.37 and includes benefits of paid holidays, vacation and sick leave.
